Register your CV

Two minutes now. The rest at your pace.

We only ask for what a consultant needs to make the first call. Licences, certificates and work history come later, in your own time.

  1. Send the short form

Name, number, sector, CV. That’s it.

  2. A consultant calls — same working day

A real conversation about what you want, not a script.

  3. A shortlist, not a spray

We put you forward for roles that fit — and tell you straight when one doesn’t.

The short form

Four fields and a CV.

No CV to hand? Send it anyway and say so — we’ll build one with you on the call.

Candidate questions

Asked often. Answered straight.

Anything else — write to us. A person answers.

Contact us

How quickly can I start work?

For temporary roles, often within 48 hours of registering — once we’ve verified your right to work, licences and references. Some clients run same-week inductions; your consultant will tell you the realistic date on the first call, not a hopeful one.

When and how do I get paid?

Weekly, one week in arrears, directly into your bank. Timesheets close Sunday night and pay lands Friday. Payslips are emailed, and will also live in your My Stoa account.

Does it cost me anything to register?

No. Never. Charging a candidate a fee for finding them work is illegal in the UK, and we’re an REC member — if any agency asks you for money to find you work, walk away.

I don’t have an up-to-date CV. Can I still register?

Yes. Send the short form without one and say so — we’ll build a working CV with you on the phone. What matters is your licences, tickets and work history, and we can capture those in a ten-minute call.

Do you check licences and right to work?

Always, before any placement — licence and CPC checks for drivers, in-date tickets for FLT, codings for welders, and right-to-work verification for everyone. It protects you as much as the client: nobody gets turned away at the gate on day one.

What happens after I apply for a job?

A consultant — a named person, not a system — reviews your application the same working day. If you’re right for it, we call you before we send anything to the client. If you’re not, we tell you that too, and why.

Can I go temp-to-perm?

Often, yes. Many of our industrial and driving roles convert after 12 weeks. The advert will say if it’s a genuine temp-to-perm role — we don’t use the phrase as bait.
